 "Don't be afraid, learn the basics, and then go ride with the people your afraid you'd hold up. Get out of your comfort zone and they will help you progress. Also, cheap gear isn't worth it, could mean life or death."

 "Most importantly safety: know your terrain, weather, group before your ride and some mental advice: I was having a very off day out riding and someone saw my frustration and said “we do this for fun” don’t let it bring you down other wise your going to hate the sport. This has stuck with me ever since. Any day on the snow is a good day don’t let an off day consume your ride."
